If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, simply call at 613-233-8839 or email us at email@bobthompsonjewellers.com within 30 days from the date of delivery and we will happily exchange your item.

Estate “Preloved” collection, discontinued “retired” and “Sale” items

Merchandise sold on our Estate preloved jewellery, preowned watches, discontinued “retired” or sale are final. Appraisal or certificate are available for an additional fee of $65. Please add in the comment section at your checkout. Resizing is offered at $70 for all Preloved rings.

Online orders

For all regular-priced merchandise purchased online at Thompson’s Jewellers will provide an exchange only within 30 days of delivery, provided merchandise has not been worn, altered, engraved, or special-ordered. All claims, battery replacement, or warranty service must be accompanied by proof of purchase, original packaging and warranty materials. Sale, retired and Pre-Loved merchandise is FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Inventory Quantity Dispute

Items that are purchased on our website has the chance to be sold at the same time at the store or online before going out of stock online. If it’s a piece that can be re-ordered or reproduced, we will contact the purchaser to let them know with the time frame. If the item is one of a kind piece, discontinued or Pre-Loved Collection and cannot be reproduced, in that case, our Customer Care team will process your refund. Refunds will be credited to the same form of payment in your original purchase. Please allow 30 days for the credit to appear on your billing statement.

Engraving Schedule: Please allow an additional 2-3 days for delivery of standard engraved items and an additional time for delivery of monogrammed and hand-engraved items. Items on special order may take longer. Please contact us at the store on 613-233-8839 for more information.

Call us at 613-233-8839 or send us an email at email@bobthompsonjewellers.com. If your order is eligible for a return, we will provide you with a Return Authorization Form.

2. Package Your Merchandise

The merchandise returned must be received in sellable condition. Enclose the merchandise and the printed Return Authorization Form, the packing slip, original packaging, and any papers provided with your item. Please ship back the item or drop it off in person at 193 Bank Street. K2P 1W7. Ottawa Ontario.

3. Ship Your Package

If you choose to use the shipping method, the return/exchange may not process until we receive the package. Thompson’s will not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation if the package is lost, stolen, damaged, or mishandled. Please provide the tracking number when if you decide to return your items.

4. Processing Your Return/Exchange

Upon receiving your return, the item will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance Department. Once the returned merchandise is accepted for exchange, your replacement item will be processed within a few business days.
