Golden South Sea pearls are the most rare of the pearls colours and are grown in the gold-lip variety of Pinctada maxima oyster, with 8mm being the smallest size produced.  Their warm golden tones are completely natural with no treatment needed, though the grown period is approximately 2 to 4 years.  These 43 are slightly graduated in size from 9mm next to the  clasp and 10mm at the center, with slight variations in colour and shape. The corrugated ball clasp is in 14 karat yellow gold.
