This exquisite ring features a 1.57-carat Tsavorite gemstone, discovered in Kenya near the Tsavo Game Reserve in 1967. Like emerald, which it is often confused with and comes many shades of green. Tsavorite has a Mohs hardness of 6.5 to 7.5, making it suitable for all forms of fine jewelry. The stone is cut in an elegant “emerald” shape, measuring 7.39mm x 6.48mm, and though it displays a bit of abrasion, its captivating deep green colour is undeniable. Flanking the Tsavorite are two beautiful mined diamonds, totaling 0.53 carats with SI2 clarity and H color.
